NPSF Annual Patient Safety Congress
As the only conference dedicated solely to patient safety, NPSF’s annual Congress is a unique opportunity for practitioners, leaders and experts around the world to come together and share their knowledge.
There are many ways to address the issue of patient safety, and Congress participants explore them by attending a variety of seminars, breakouts sessions, workshops, demonstrations and plenaries. Participants also gain the opportunity to network with other professionals passionate about patient safety and share best practices in order to make a direct impact.

The event is divided into two parts: an interactive afternoon forum with LLI members and an evening program. During the evening, guests attend a networking cocktail reception and enjoy dinner at the State Room while hearing remarks from a special guest.
Patient Safety Awareness Week

Patient Safety Awareness Week, March 4-10, 2012
Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual campaign led by NPSF to foster education and awareness around patient safety. Each year has a distinct theme, in order to allow participants to address a particular safety issue in-depth. Organizations or individuals looking to foster patient safety in their communities can take advantage of this campaign by using NPSF tools, resources and informational materials. Organizations can also order individual materials to supplement an existing safety program.
